Pear-shaped diamonds are frequently referred to as "teardrop diamonds" because of their distinctive raindrop shape. This unusual shape is supposed to depict happy tears. A pear-shaped diamond combines the characteristics of round and marquise-shaped diamonds since they are pointed on one side and rounder on the other. The ability to be worn both upwards and downwards is another unique feature of this style of diamond. Although there isn't a specific ratio for a pear-shaped diamond, it is believed that the symmetry should be good, that is, the pointed section is in the middle.
There is no predetermined ratio for pear-shaped diamonds; you can choose the ratio that you want to use. To achieve the desired narrow, elongated portion, a higher ratio is used. A smaller ratio could be used to create components that are more rounded.
